Fit Family biking trip went on as planned on the beautiful China Camp trail
Nature gave Fit Family children a break yesterday during their bike trip on a beautiful China Camp trail, in San Rafael, California. The troubling heat of recent days gave way to cool weather conducive to biking.
The biking trip was organized by Endurance – A Sports and Psychology Center, Inc. and sponsored by Trips for Kids and Healthy Hearts Program at Children’s Hospital Oakland to help keep families fit and healthier.
The other activities organized by Endurance are swimming, running and triathlon.
The activities are supervised by the Endurance Director Cory Nyamora, a clinical psychologist and a USA certified triathlon as well as track and field coach.
At the end of every activity, the families receive lunch as part of education on healthy nutrition.
Yesterday’s bike ride was supervised by Mike from Trips for Kids, assisted by Ben, a volunteer, and Endurance representatives Loyce and Pius.
